This role is designed for Foreign/International Medical Graduates (FMGs/IMGs) who wish to apply their medical training in a supervised clinical setting. The Coordinator will work under the direction of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and Director of Operations to uphold the highest standards of care, compliance, and service quality.

Essential Functions
Telehealth and Clinical Support
- Facilitate and coordinate telehealth visits between patients and providers, ensuring smooth connection, readiness, and accurate data entry.
- Support the telehealth platform’s functionality, troubleshooting technical issues when needed.
- Assist with virtual patient intake, documentation, and follow-up tasks in alignment with telehealth protocols.
- Prepare and organize patient charts, diagnostics, consents, and other materials required for provider review.
- Perform pre-charting and obtain/record vital signs per protocol.
- Support both on-site and telehealth encounters by preparing patient materials and ensuring all data and consents are accurate and complete.
- Serve as a medical scribe during provider-patient interactions, entering real-time notes, orders, and encounter data in the EHR.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all documentation.
- Under provider guidance, assist with implementing care plans and tracking patient outcomes.
- Communicate with patients, families, client facilities, and referral sources to facilitate continuity of care.
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and ensure timely delivery of post-visit instructions.
- Participate in patient and family education sessions regarding vascular conditions and care plans.
- Support outreach initiatives and maintain professional relationships with client facilities and referring providers.
- Deliver consistent, professional, and compassionate patient service.
- Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) and adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and meet documentation turnaround expectations.
Required:
- Foreign/International Medical Graduate (FMG/IMG) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and computer literacy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
- Ability to travel locally between partner facilities and support telehealth operations remotely.
- Previous experience in vascular, interventional, or cardiology settings.
- Experience as a medical scribe or telehealth coordinator.
- Multilingual communication skills.
- Familiarity with clinical terminology and ability to accurately document provider assessments and care plans.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to service excellence.
- Professionalism, discretion, and adaptability across diverse care settings.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during on-site clinic or procedure days.
- Occasional lifting or movement of supplies/equipment (up to :25 lbs).
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
