Dispatcher - Elmhurst, IL (53021)

We are looking at add a dispatcher to our dispatching team. The schedule is M-F start time between 12p-2p/8 hour shifts. 

Hourly range is $19-22 depending on experience.

The Dispatcher coordinates the daily delivery of durable medical equipment as well as other home care related equipment, to specific points of delivery in a coordinated timely manner, and efficiently manages the service technician vehicle fleets.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Prioritizes and coordinates ETA's for the daily deliveries, pick-ups, service calls, maintenance or changes in delivery service for Service Technicians.
• Communicates to all Service Technicians regarding any changes to routes.
• Confirms completion of all deliveries, pick-ups, service calls, maintenance or changes in service at the end-of-day for Service Technicians in computer system.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have experience in the Dispatch industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime.
• Must be available to work some weekends as required.
