We are seeking a Telecommunications Field & Customer Support Technician to become an integral part of our team. You will design and configure data communication systems as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate will have basic Telephone knowledge
- Familiar with and ability to troubleshoot telecom IDF and MDF frames
- Running, terminating, and testing voice and data cables.
- Knowledge of VOIP and PBX systems
- Basic computer skills, to include but not limited to, connecting and programming IP devices, work with browser-based software
- Willingness and ability to learn multiple platforms
- Good communication skills
- Must have a valid SC driver’s license in good standing
Responsibilities
• Supervise installation and maintenance of communication systems
• Adjust voice and video configurations to minimize communication disruptions
• Provide training and support to telecommunications personnel
• Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions
• Order and maintain inventory stock supplies
Qualifications
• Previous experience in telecommunications,
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
- Full Time working from our offices and/or some remote
- Competitive salary will be based on experience
