JOB TITLE: Program Supervisor
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Day Habilitation
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Day Habilitation
POSITION SUMMARY:
In conjunction with the Vice President of Day Habilitation/Director of Day Habilitation, the Program Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day program oversight for their assigned day habilitation program; including planning and coordination of individual programming/services in accordance with applicable regulatory standards. Provides direct supervision to Program Instructors, Day Habilitation Specialist and relief staff assigned to the program; coordinates and facilitates staff development and training. Ensures proper individual assessment and subsequent development of program planning documents (Staff Action Plans, Day Habilitation plan, etc). Establishes organizational system for monitoring the effectiveness of program operations including record keeping procedures, proper and qualify documentation of all program services in accordance with regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in a Human Services Setting
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Associates Degree in Special Education or human Services
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
SALARY:
$22.50-$26 per hour starting rate based on experience
