The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Billing and Collection Specialist to join our International Bond & Marine team based in our Morristown, NJ office on a hybrid schedule. This job is responsible for routine cash application to insurance balances receivable along with routine to moderately complex reconciliations and billing and collection processing as assigned. Some of the Billing and Collection Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for applying routine cash receipts to insurance balances receivable.
- Responsible for all billing and collection activity of receivables for assigned accounts
- Balances and allocates agent payments for fundamental accounts
- Resolves internal and external customer inquiries and escalates to management as appropriate
- Takes necessary steps to reconcile and resolve differences
- Assist with special projects to promote efficiency as assigned.
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks as needed.
The expertise you bring
- High school diploma with demonstrated experience required.
- 1-3 years billing and collection services or equivalent experience preferred.
Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience, and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires, but your recruiter will share more specific compensation information with you during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $50,000 – $64,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $58,000 – $67,000. In addition to base salary, full-time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
