Location: Greenville, SC 29615
Pay rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hr
Work schedule: Hybrid model requiring on-site presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with remote flexibility on Monday and Friday. 8am-430pm

Overview
As part of the Human Resources Operations Services Team, the Specialist supports HR, business, and functional leaders and employees across the US and Canada, while also providing support to global colleagues. This position is responsible for efficiently handling a variety of core HR transactions, providing excellent customer service, and driving project leadership across the organization. This role collaborates extensively across critical enterprise functions including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Compliance, and Employee Relations to support seamless work integration.
Job Specifications
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Serve as Project Leader for operational initiatives, including system enhancement work, functional process improvements, training deployments, and cross-functional efforts.
- Cross-Functional Management: Independently manage projects or dedicated workstreams involving HRBPs, COEs, IT, and Finance. Present operational findings, oversee system testing, draft communications, coordinate training, and lead project implementation meetings.
- HRIS Data Management: Efficiently and accurately enter, maintain, and validate global human resources transactions in SuccessFactors (HCM system). Transactions include onboarding processing, separations, unemployment claims, employment verifications, and general employee life-cycle documentation.
- Mass Data Loads: Oversee and execute employee data loads and system imports to support corporate mass structural changes in direct partnership with HR IT.
- Compliance Documentation: Generate and amend formal employment documentation to ensure strict compliance with changing state, federal, and local requirements.
- Ticket & Case Resolution: Ensure timely resolution of internal service tickets, emails, escalations, and general inquiries in accordance with established HR policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize functional system knowledge to understand business processes, identify structural gaps, map enhancement opportunities, and document suggestions for the team.
- Team Projects: Support broad HR Operational Services team initiatives, including corporate acquisitions, divestitures, and complex structural initiatives.
- Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive employee data and lifecycle transactions.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
- HR Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working within a Human Resources capacity.
- Advanced Excel & Software: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with mandatory experience building VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Proficient in PowerPoint for leadership presentations.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience leading projects, managing multiple competing priorities, and tracking project deliverables to strict deadlines.
- Communication & Adaptability: Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Highly flexible and open to adjusting project plans dynamically as corporate priorities shift.
- Stamina & Pace: Proven ability to perform with a high attention to detail under pressure, a strong sense of urgency, and a track record of excelling in a fast-paced team environment.
- Customer Facing Acumen: Exceptional customer service, analytical troubleshooting, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hands-on HRIS systems support experience (SuccessFactors strongly preferred).
Education
- A college degree in Business, HR, or a related field is preferred.
