Title: Service Desk Technician
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday; Core Business Hours (On-Call Rotation Required)

Overview
Seeking a Service Desk Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end users in a Windows-based enterprise environment. This role supports desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room technology, and network-related issues while delivering excellent customer service through a ticketing system. Candidates should have hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, imaging experience, and experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
Job Description
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
- Install, configure, image, and deploy computer systems using enterprise imaging tools
- Manage and document support requests through ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office environments
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and user account support
- Support audio/visual and video conferencing equipment
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation
- Provide support for IT projects and site initiatives
- Travel to local office locations as required
Required Skills
- 4 years of hands-on IT support experience (or Associate's Degree with 1–3 years of experience)
- Experience imaging computers using WDS, MDT, and SCCM
- Experience with ServiceNow, Footprints, or similar ticketing systems
- Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, LDAP, SMTP, FTP, and remote access tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MTA, or similar)
- ITIL certification
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
- Linux administration experience
- Audio/Visual support experience
Education Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

- On-site position in Melbourne, FL
- Approximately 20% travel may be required
