Patient Monitor / Sitter – Weekend Overnight ShiftLocation: Sacramento, CA**Pay Rate: $25.00 per hourShift: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (8-hour shifts)InSync Consulting Services is hiring immediately for Patient Monitor/Sitter positions supporting the Emergency Department in a major Sacramento healthcare facility. This is a non-clinical role focused on patient safety, observation, and supporting the Clinical / Behavior Health team.Healthcare experience is preferred, but all applicants are welcome. Individuals with CNA, MA, behavioral health experience, or current nursing students will be prioritized.Security experience is a plus and preferredMandatory Orientation and Training:All candidates must be available for a one-day, in-person orientation, scheduled on a weekday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No exceptions.This includes an 8-hour paid training session to ensure readiness for patient monitoring responsibilities.Job Duties Include:Providing continuous 1:1 observation of assigned patientsMaintaining clear, unobstructed visibility of the patient at all timesMonitoring for unsafe behaviors, self-harm risks, or elopement attemptsEnsuring the patient environment is free of dangerous objectsScreening or regulating access for visitors and belongings as requiredCommunicating safety concerns and changes in behavior to clinical staffSupporting clinical staff by maintaining observation during patient interactionsQualifications:Six months of healthcare experience OR Security experience preferredNursing students, CNAs, and MAs encouraged to applyAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishAble to remain attentive and focused for extended periodsReliable, professional, and comfortable working with high-risk or behavioral patientsCompany DescriptionInSync Consulting Services is a staffing agency specializing in Healthcare, Commercial, and EOR staffing services.
