Setting: Secure Correctional Healthcare Facility
Certifications Required: ARRT (R) Registry & AHA BLS
Preferred Experience: Prior healthcare delivery within a correctional or high-security setting
The Correctional Advantage

- Hardware Standardization: Work with industry-standard diagnostic setups, including GE Medical Systems and Kodak digital imaging platforms.
Clinical Scope & Daily Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Imaging: Execute routine radiologic exams on the inmate population strictly as ordered by facility physicians and mid-level clinicians.
- Radiation Safety & ALARA: Accurately position patients and calculate precise exposure factors (kVp, mAs) to minimize radiation doses while capturing high-fidelity diagnostic images.
- Equipment Operation: Calibrate, operate, and maintain diagnostic X-ray hardware, specializing in GE Medical Systems and Kodak CR/DR processing units.
- Digital Archiving: Process digital radiographs, verify image quality, and route files to off-site or facility radiologists via PACS.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
