What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist position at Insync Consulting Services LLC?
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5 x 8-Hour Days (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Certifications Required: ARRT (MR) Registry
Clinical Scope & Physics Mastery
- Magnet Safety & Physics: Apply deep knowledge of superconducting magnet physics, static magnetic field safety (Zone IV protocols), and spatial gradient limits to protect patient welfare.
- Anatomical RF Coil Selection: Utilize specialized radio-frequency surface coils tailored to specific anatomical structures to maximize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and image resolution.
- Contrast & PACS Integration: Administer IV contrast agents via automated power injectors, ensuring proper timing for dynamic tissue enhancement and rapid PACS archiving.
- Sequence Optimization: Modify pulse sequences (T1, T2, FLAIR, Diffusion, Gradient Echo) to mitigate motion artifacts and accommodate challenging patient presentations.
What You Bring to the Suite
- Registry Gate: Active national certification via the ARRT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging—ARRT (MR).
- Technical Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience with superconducting MRI systems, power injectors, and PACS.
- Safety Standards: Expert command of MRI screening protocols and RF coil safety.
- Credentials: Current AHA BLS certification.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
