About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our team! This role is responsible for ensuring accurate stocking, storage, and distribution of medical supplies within our supply chain storeroom. You will play a key role in inventory management, supply requisitions, vendor coordination, and ensuring clinical teams have the supplies and equipment they need to provide excellent care.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires independence, problem-solving skills, and strong communication with clinical and non-clinical staff.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Control
- Manage storeroom inventory, rotate stock, and monitor expiration dates.
- Receive deliveries, verify packing slips, and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Stock shelves, coordinate product returns, and manage backordered items.
- Support upcoming procedures by coordinating special supply, equipment, and instrument needs.
- Maintain orderly, organized inventory storage and enforce inventory standards.
- Track product usage, research issues, and implement substitutions when necessary.
- Oversee cycle counts and annual inventory processes.
Financial & Administrative
- Promote efficient, cost-effective inventory management to reduce waste and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues.
- Monitor contract compliance, participate in product trials, and support cost-containment initiatives.
Compliance & Safety
- Stay current with OSHA guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality and safety activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- 2 years of healthcare supply chain experience
- OR 2 years of healthcare procedural area experience
- OR 2 years of OR Tech or Surgical Tech experience
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork

Pay: $24.00 - $26.50 per hour
