We are actively hiring a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join our team!Catastrophe Risk Analyst role focused on catastrophe modeling, exposure management, and analytical support for underwriters, with strong collaboration across catastrophe management teams and an emphasis on translating complex model results into actionable insights.Key Responsibilities & Requirements- Perform catastrophe modeling and exposure management, initially focused on natural catastrophe risks with scope to expand across lines- Partner closely with underwriters to support risk selection and decision-making using analytics and modeling outputs- Translate and explain catastrophe model results, limitations, data quality issues, and uncertainty to non-technical stakeholders- Collaborate with cross-regional catastrophe management and modeling teams to ensure consistent views of risk- Contribute to workflow improvements, internal analytics, and regulatory or management reporting- Strong quantitative skills with experience in catastrophe modeling, data analysis (Excel, SQL), and exposure to programming tools (e.g., Python, R, VBA) preferredLocation: Hybrid in New York or ChicagoSalary: $120,000
