The Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in assisting cardiovascular surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures. The technologist anticipates the surgeon’s needs and provides intraoperative support to optimize surgical outcomes, patient safety, and procedural efficiency.
Education
- Surgical Technologist Trade School Degree REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
- NBSTSA CST Certification REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification REQUIRED
- Willing to obtain State Licensure REQUIRED
Experience
- 1 year Cardiovascular or Thoracic experience REQUIRED
