Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our growing book of business. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial insurance while working in a structured, team-oriented environment.
You will work closely with Producers and clients to manage day-to-day service needs, support renewals, and ensure a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service requests for commercial insurance clients
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Assist with policy reviews and coverage comparisons
- Support the renewal process (data gathering, submissions, proposal prep)
- Review audits and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in agency management systems
- Communicate with carriers and underwriters to service accounts efficiently
- Deliver a high level of responsiveness and professionalism to clients
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial insurance (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AMS systems is a plus
Licensing Requirement
- Insurance Producer License preferred but not required
- Candidates must be willing to obtain their license (with support from the company)
