Benefits Account Manager (Bilingual Spanish Required)
Overview We’re looking for a Benefits Account Manager to support a senior Account Executive and help manage a book of small group clients. This role will primarily focus on small group accounts, with occasional exposure to larger group business—offering a great opportunity to grow your experience over time.
You’ll be client-facing and hands-on with renewals, marketing, and open enrollment, while working closely with an experienced Account Executive who oversees the large group strategy.
Location: Remote – Must live near Corona, CA or Pasadena, CA (must be local for in-person meetings)
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day service for a portfolio of small group benefit clients
- Market benefit plans to carriers and analyze proposals
- Coordinate renewals, including gathering quotes and presenting options
- Lead and attend in-person open enrollment meetings
- Prepare and distribute enrollment materials (SBCs, summaries, compliance notices, etc.)
- Oversee implementations and carrier transitions for small group clients
- Communicate plan selections and updates to carriers and internal teams
- Ensure enrollment data and documentation are accurate and submitted on time
- Respond to client and employee questions with a high level of service
- Support compliance requirements (Medicare Part D, CMS filings, CAA reporting, etc.)
- Occasionally assist the Account Executive with large group accounts, gaining exposure to more complex plans and strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting small group employee benefits (2–100 lives)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Active California Life & Health license
- Must be located within the Corona to Pasadena corridor and able to attend in-person meetings
