Overview
Drive the success of our Medicare agents by providing operational support, training, and ongoing guidance. This role is responsible for coordinating internal departmental processes, managing agent certifications, planning and conducting training sessions, coordinating product training with insurance carriers, resolving operational issues, and ensuring that every agent has the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to grow their business efficiently while maintaining compliance with CMS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to agent inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide support on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D (PDP), and Medigap sales processes.
- Guide agents in the use of carrier portals and online platforms.
- Assist with resolving issues related to applications, member status, enrollments, and operational processes.
- Follow up on open requests until they are fully resolved.
- Assist agents with obtaining and renewing certifications, including AHIP and carrier-specific certifications.
- Ensure all agents maintain current certifications and licensing requirements.
- Coordinate product training sessions and updates with insurance carriers.
- Train new and existing agents on Medicare products, processes, and best practices.
- Educate agents on the use of Medicare enrollment platforms and carrier systems.
- Develop training materials, quick reference guides, and internal procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training regarding new products, CMS regulations, and industry updates.
- Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and agency policies.
- Verify that agents follow established agency procedures and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Medicare products and enrollments.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are required to convey complex information clearly and compassionately
- Experience working with health insurance agents is preferred.
- Experience creating and designing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience delivering training and presentations in both in-person and virtual environments (Zoom or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to manage phone calls efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
