We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines CSR to join our team. If you are a licensed professional who enjoys building relationships and helping people protect what matters most, we want to hear from you.The Role:You will be the primary point of contact for our personal lines clients. This role requires a blend of technical insurance knowledge, precise attention to detail, and a "neighborly" approach to customer service.Focus: Homeowners, Personal Auto, Umbrella, and related personal insurance products.Carrier Interaction: Quoting and binding through our various independent carrier portals.Key Responsibilities:Manage a book of personal lines business, providing timely and accurate support for renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.Analyze client needs and use our multiple carrier platforms to quote and compare Home and Auto insurance options.Explain complex insurance terms and coverages in a way that is easy for clients to understand.Assist clients through the claims process, acting as a liaison between the client and the carrier.Maintain organized and thorough documentation within the Agency Management System (AMS).Proactively identify gaps in coverage and recommend appropriate solutions (cross-selling/up-selling).Required Qualifications:Licensing: Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License is required.Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an independent insurance agency setting.Technical Skills: Proficiency with carrier quoting portals and Agency Management Systems (experience with Applied Epic or Vertafore/EZLynx is a plus).Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional, local service.Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Massachusetts insurance market and Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) procedures.Why Join Us?Stable, Local Environment: Work for a reputable agency that is a staple in the community.Independent Advantage: Access to multiple carriers means you can truly find the best solutions for your clients.Professional Support: Join a team that values your expertise and provides the tools you need to succeed.Company DescriptionVery busy agency.
