SBK Insurance - Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager

In this position you will function as the primary point of contact for new and existing SBK Insurance clients, focusing on the management and retention of their personal policies such as home, auto, and umbrella insurance. This position is service-oriented, acting as a liaison between the client and insurance carriers.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Prior insurance related experience in personal lines account management with a thorough knowledge of insurance products is preferred.
• A Property and Casualty insurance license or a Personal Lines insurance license is preferred.
• Experience with AMS 360, PL Rater and Agency Zoom preferred.
• Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A strong ability to work in a team environment.
• A proficient level of computer competency including Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• An elevated level of integrity and confidentiality.

• Service SBK Insurance existing client accounts, including phone calls and in-office visits.
• Interview new customers by phone, email or in person to collect the necessary information for quoting purposes.
• Prepare & market insurance quotes for producers for assigned accounts.
• Process policy transactions, including new business applications, renewals, and change requests.
• Proactively review expiring policies to identify coverage gaps, shop for better rates, and present renewal options to ensure maximum client retention.
• Guide clients through the claims process, explaining coverage and coordinating with adjusters to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate, real-time records of all client communications and policy actions within the agency management system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
