Position overview: Our Global Infrastructure team is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with experience building, managing and supporting cutting edge cloud applications. The successful candidate should possess a robust understanding of HIPAA regulated enterprise-scale infrastructure, technologies, and applications, with demonstrated experience in recovery resiliency. Understanding of cloud resiliency, infrastructure, cyber security, and business continuity are essential to support the resiliency transformation program. You should have an expertise in Data Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Backups, Cloud (AWS) Best Practices, Infrastructure, Networking and Virtualization. The candidate should be interested in new technologies and be able to learn new applications quickly. JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the operational support of multiple global multi-tenant cloud-based applications The role requires you to keep vitally important IT systems up and running by overseeing day-to-day monitoring and response to alarms, fault and performance management activities. Proactively monitor systems, networks, and applications to provide input in improving the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems Helps establish and improve engineering best practices, concepts, and patterns with peers and the business. Closely collaborate with software development leads to understand workload requirements and guide them to the best leverage of cloud services, optimizing for performance, cost and architectural flexibility. Leads analysis of end-to-end system failures to identify opportunities across multiple systems. Participate in incident reviews to create improved supportability documentation, diagnostics, tooling, error messages and automation Manage the secure, scalable and resilient hosting of numerous applications in a regulated (HIPAA) environment that improves the lives of thousands of people on a daily basis. Implement monitoring and security controls across various platforms. Collaborate closely with the multiple technology and cross-functional groups within the organization. Proven experience to analyze and run audit forensics ,trend analysis and cloud data reporting Manage ticket assignments, documentation and escalations for thorough and timely outcomes Skills/Experience: 5 years demonstrated work experience with AWS (e.g. ECS, Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc) Experience with Application and Infrastructure Monitoring such as AWS Cloudwatch, Datadog, and PagerDuty In-depth architectural understanding of AWS and familiar with cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code) Proven experience to analyze and run audit forensics ,trend analysis and cloud data reporting Experience with Change management, incident review and root cause analysis of maintenances and network outages Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working with technical teams and management Experience with network infrastructure (e.g. setting up and managing firewalls, WAFs, ELB, network segregation, network sharing, VPNs and network ACLs) Knowledge and proficient understanding of designing scalable IT system infrastructures, implementing system changes, or automating service delivery and maintenance tasks. Advanced level of business insight in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Administration or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AWS certifications, preferably Solutions, DevOps or SysOps Experience working on or with teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum DevOps infrastructure experience, including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Bitbucket), etc Collaborate closely with teams in strategic planning, facilitating cross-team solution reviews, and communicating strategy direction Develop, lead, and oversee resiliency strategy across domains, including development, architecture and engineering teams Experience supporting scalable database technologies, including MongoDB, MS SQL, and Postgres Experience in supporting secure software platforms in a regulated environment (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR) Experience supporting a scalable, highly available, active/active environment across regions Identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives Experience with Cloud Security standards and frameworks including NIST, CIS , etc as well as cloud security services (e.g. AWS GuardDuty, Cloudtrail, Security Hub, Inspector, etc) Physical Requirements N/A NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote  Additional Information: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $116,930.00 - $166,257.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
