Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; manage supply base and lead complex negotiations.
- Develop regionally diversified, resilient supply strategies to optimize cost, mitigate risk (including sub‑tier), and ensure capacity for growth.
- Drive early supplier involvement and innovation focused on DFM, DFA, and cost‑efficient design.
- Manage Quarterly CBOM processes for assigned programs.
- Provide cost estimates for component parts and sub-assemblies throughout the development cycle.
- Ensure consistent implementation of contracts and agreements.
- Monitor supplier and internal performance against contracts, benchmarks, and historical baselines.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess market trends and emerging technologies; recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Lead or support RFI/RFP preparation and evaluation.
- Track and report key performance metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, business, or mathematics, plus 0–2 years of professional experience (procurement, supply chain or finance preferred).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (medical devices preferred).
- Background in engineering, business, manufacturing, or procurement.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI skills; SAP experience preferred.
- Supplier management and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with cost modeling and commodity‑specific methodologies.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Lean manufacturing experience (Green Belt preferred).
- Standard office environment; extended periods of sitting.
- Up to 20% domestic and international.
