Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Gas Fireplace Technician, located in Concord, CA. The Gas Fireplace Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of gas fireplaces. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with safety standards, providing superior customer service, diagnosing issues, and recommending solutions. The role requires collaboration with team members as well as clear and professional communication with clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and repair of gas fireplaces
- Knowledge of safety standards and building codes related to gas systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical diagrams and instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Relevant certifications related to gas appliances or HVAC systems are a plus
- Prior experience in gas fireplace services or related technical fields advantageous
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
