Plant Maintenance Technician

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be responsible for coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems
- Schedule and oversee repair, modification, and maintenance activities; supports the development and review of standard operating procedures
- Participate in process safety activities including HAZOPs and FMEAs and acts as a site liaison with the corporate process safety group, oversees new equipment installations
- You will ensure safe work practices are followed by maintenance and operations personnel
- Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and new equipment purchases
- Coordinate material and equipment movement, contributes to Six Sigma projects, and other duties as assigned.
- You have a Bachelor of Science (preferred) or a high school diploma or GED
- Three to five (3–5) years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, and Operating Procedures
- Working knowledge of welding techniques
- Experience with high‑pressure piping systems and familiarity with cryogenic pumps and systems
- You have basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications
