Senior Vice President Commercial Lending
The Institution for Savings is seeking a Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending & Senior Lender who will be responsible for all aspects of the Bank’s commercial lending functions in accordance with the Bank’s Loan Policy and regulatory guidelines including management of origination, underwriting, closing and servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the commercial lending reporting function.
- Staffing, training and development of commercial lending personnel.
- Responsible for management and development of commercial and marketing functions of the Bank, including attorneys, appraisers and third-party vendors.
- Responsible for existing portfolio relationships and new loan production.
- Request specified information for loan application credit reports, background checks, reference checks and other information pertinent to loan applicant’s evaluation.
- Analyze applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility.
- Compile loan package and approve with specified limits.
- Advise President & CEO of external factors that may affect establishment lending policies. Recommend and implement changes to policies and procedures.
- Promote and cross-sell other Bank products and services as appropriate.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or minimum 10 years management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal oriented.
- Utilizes strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
- Consistently achieves goals and meets strict deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to context, substance and detail.
- Embraces the team-oriented culture and works collaboratively across the Bank to support the Bank’s strategic growth plans.
Salary Range: $250,000-$350,000
The salary range listed is just one component of the Bank’s total compensation package. Other rewards include fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 10%; life insurance; disability plan; pension plan after 2 years of service; generous vacation and paid-time off; and quarterly incentive.
