Senior Architect

Joel Kelly Design is seeking a Senior Architect with a proven background in luxury residential design to lead projects from concept through completion. This is a hands-on, in-studio role for a design professional who brings both creative vision and technical rigor, and who is comfortable operating at a high level of client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-end residential projects through all phases, from initial concept through construction administration
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and artisans to uphold the integrity of the design intent
• Oversee project teams, providing mentorship and maintaining the highest standards of quality and documentation
• Ensure projects are executed with precision—on schedule and within budget
• Contribute meaningfully to the studio’s design ethos and creative direction
  
  

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture
• 5 years of experience, with a strong emphasis on luxury or custom residential projects
• Licensed Architect
• Understanding of building systems, construction methods, and refined material applications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to operate both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Based in the Atlanta metro area
• Available to work in-studio Monday through Friday
