Project Manager Design Associate

Wade Weissmann Architecture (WWA) is seeking full-time Project Manager Design Associate candidates with 5 -10 years’ experience to add to our boutique architectural firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate is motivated and looking for opportunities to grow as a designer within the firm and take on additional responsibilities. We are looking for applicants that have at least 5 years’ residential architectural experience; high-end preferred. Candidate must be a highly driven designer with proven design and presentation skills, to work alongside WWA principals creating design documents. There will be heavy focus on preliminary, schematic and design development. Applicant should be personable, hardworking, organized, able to create and meet deadlines and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.

This position may require travel depending on project locations.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of architectural experience; preferably high-end
• BA of Architecture is required, Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field is a plus
• Licensure preferred, however, not required
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Sketch up
• Will need working knowledge of design, and hand drawing experience
• Familiarity with residential architecture is a plus, specifically with detailing and documenting
• Thorough understanding of construction documents
• Must convey professionalism when dealing with clients and staff
• Must be self-motivated as well as team-orientated
