What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position at InstantServe LLC?
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead capital projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives within a heavy industrial manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from design through fabrication, FAT, commissioning, and operation.
- Manage capital projects ranging from $50K–$5M.
- Provide hands-on mechanical engineering and troubleshooting support.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Develop designs and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical & Vault.
- Manage BOMs, risk assessments, and safety improvements.
- Support equipment startup and commissioning.
Must-Have
- Heavy industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling skills.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault.
- Capital project management experience up to $5M.
- Hands-on FAT, startup & commissioning experience.
- Strong mechanical design, project management, and problem-solving skills.
