We are looking for a Lead Environmental Engineer to provide technical and project leadership within a manufacturing environment.
This role offers significant autonomy, with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, operational efficiency, and SOP optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects and processes with limited managerial oversight.
- Develop and implement operational plans.
- Identify and implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Analyse and redesign SOPs to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Use operational data to improve quality, performance, and processes.
- Coach, mentor, and delegate work to junior professionals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to operational challenges.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience in SOP redesign and process improvement.
- Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities.
- Ability to independently lead complex projects.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing and implementing operational plans.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment.
