Summary:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist II to support an Information Assurance (IA) team. The role focuses on securing systems, networks, and data while supporting Navy RMF and DoD cybersecurity compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls for systems, networks, and data.
- Define security requirements and develop cybersecurity architectures and designs.
- Implement and maintain HBSS, ACAS, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), and Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI).
- Apply STIGs and support RMF accreditation activities.
- Maintain compliance with applicable DoD/Navy security and safety requirements.
- Complete required environmental and cybersecurity training.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED.
- 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
- 2 years of Splunk experience.
- Knowledge of the Navy RMF process.
- Required certifications: CISSP or CASP.
- DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
