What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Network Administrator position at INSPYR Solutions?
Growing company in Nashville is in need of a Senior Network Administrator to join their team. This position will report directly to the Network Manager in the IT Department.
Responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- Implementation and maintenance of all route/switch and load-balancing equipment through the entire equipment lifecycle.
- Expert level in troubleshooting and maintaining all Cisco switches, routers and wireless controllers.
- Expert level in troubleshooting and maintaining all F5 LTM load balancers.
- Experience managing Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
- Experience maintaining service contracts on equipment and working with Cisco SMARTNET to ensure all agreements are current.
Minimum Years of Experience/Educational Requirements
- 10 years expert-level experience with route/switch, firewalls, WLCs, QoS, VoIP, and load balancers
- Experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and troubleshooting related issues on a complex and highly secured network.
- Must be able to perform after-hour and weekend work as needed in a 24x7 environment.
- Must be able to lift equipment and rack/stack as needed.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Skills are as follows:
- CCNA certification or higher preferred.
- Experience managing server operating systems such as Windows and Linux Experience managing SAN/NAS architectures.
- Experience managing Blade server technologies and server hardware
- Experience managing virtualized environments such as VMWare
- Experience with MS PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and remote server management.
- Working with VoIP systems and OEMs to ensure the highest level of standards for our collaboration systems.
