Senior Accountant
Deer Park, TX (5 Days Onsite) | Direct Hire
Base Salary: Up to $90,000 with a 10% bonus
About the Opportunity
The Sr. Accountant will support full-cycle accounting functions, including general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and works closely with leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end close
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Manage cash activity, including collections and account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
- Track capital projects and related expenditures
- Support AP processing and company credit card administration
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with additional accounting functions as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close and journal entries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
