SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Location: Remote (USA) - must work CST hours 
ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
INSPYR Solutions is seeking an SDET / Quality Automation Specialist to support automation testing efforts for the Apple Online Store (ASO). This role is focused on ensuring high-quality customer experiences through robust automated testing across web and mobile platforms.
In this role, approximately 75% of the time will be spent on automation testing and scripting within Selenium/Web Driver, Python and Playwright. The other 25% will involve analyzing the test and scripting outcomes, fixing automation defects and maintaining test scripts.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner closely with engineering and quality teams to build scalable automation solutions and improve overall system reliability.THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Expand and enhance front-end test automation coverage, working closely with the ASO Quality team
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts and frameworks
• Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and implement fixes for automation defects
• Partner with developers to ensure testability and quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to end-to-end automation, including scripting, code reviews, check-ins, packaging, and validation
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless automated testing and deployment
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and performance

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

1. 5–9 years of experience in QA automation / SDET roles
   Strong proficiency with Selenium/WebDriver, Python, and Playwright. Proven ability to automate workflows, build end-to-end test coverage, and improve system reliability through automation.
2. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
   Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments to support continuous testing and delivery.
3. End-to-end automation ownership
   Experience across the full automation lifecycle including writing scripts, conducting code reviews, managing code check-ins, packaging builds, and validating readiness for testing.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Exposure to AI/agentic-driven automation or intelligent testing solutions
• Experience with web and mobile automation, particularly content-focused testing
• Strong communication skills with the ability to stay aligned across cross-functional teams
• Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
• Experience with Appium for mobile test automation
