Project Governance Analyst/Jr. Project Manager

• In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving the Initial Project Funding Request (IPR), Budget Application Form (BAF), Project Change Request (PCR), and Request for Agile Drawdown (RAD) submitted by project teams.
• This includes ensuring adherence to the Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) and Approved Iterative Methodology (AIM), assessing the feasibility and justification of project plans (cost, schedule, scope), optimizing costs, identifying risks, and verifying that the appropriate level of detail is provided within the documentation.
• Responsibilities include providing guidance to project teams to resolve complex situations, mitigate risks, and apply PDLC or AIM in unique situations; offering support with toolsets (Project Portfolio Portal - in-house tool, MS Project, PlanView, etc.); and coordinating with the Home Office in Japan for IPR/BAF/PCR/RAD approvals when required.
• Additionally, you will package IPR/BAF/PCR/RAD based on information provided by Project Managers (summarizing the request, inputting information into cost plans, etc.) for expedited approvals.
  

• 2-5 years of experience in IT project management in financial industry is preferred.
• Attention to detail is a MUST - validation of numbers and dates is required daily.
• Requires being onsite at the NJ office (Harborside) 4 days a week.
