We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong IT background—ideally with EHR implementation or interoperability experience—for an exciting opportunity.
This is a long-term W2 contract position that offers the benefit of working a flexible hybrid schedule!
In this role, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare technology projects focused on system interoperability, data exchange, and interface integration. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, project management skill, and healthcare knowledge to deliver solutions that enhance connectivity and data flow across clinical and operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage healthcare IT and interoperability projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality goals.
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate HL7, FHIR, and API integration efforts for secure, effective communication between systems.
- Oversee data mapping, interface design, and workflow validation activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and reports.
- Facilitate communication across technical teams, clients, and leadership.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and mentor team members.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and client satisfaction through proactive project management.
Requirements
- 3 years of project management experience in IT or healthcare technology.
- Experience with interoperability, HL7, FHIR, or API integrations required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data exchange standards and workflows.
- Proven ability to manage full project lifecycles.
- Familiarity with Waterfall or Agile methodologies preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and teamwork.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or Information Systems is a plus.
Salary : $38 - $40
