Senior Division Order Analyst
The Senior Division Order Analyst is responsible for analyzing, establishing, and maintaining division of interest ownership for operated and non-operated oil and gas wells and units. Strong well set experience is critical, including initial setup through estimated-to-final DOs, pooled units, allocations, and acquisition cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and maintain record title ownership and division of interest by reviewing title opinions, conveyance documents, leases, and curative
- Process estimated to final divisions of interest for both Joint Interest Billing (JIB) and Revenue Accounting (REV)
- Complete working and non-working interest ownership changes in collaboration with Lease Records, Owner Relations, Accounting, and Land
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements to support efficiency and adapt to industry changes
- Collaborate across Land Administration, Land, Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and IT teams
- Research and resolve owner inquiries escalated by Owner Relations and document work in the Owner Relations Management System (ORMS)
- Assist with escheat research, acquisition-related projects, data migration, and other land administration activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or HS diploma/GED with equivalent land experience
- Minimum 5 years of Division Order experience with an actively drilling oil and gas company
- Direct Division Order experience and knowledge of Texas required
- Proficiency with P2 Domain or comparable land systems (Quorum, Enertia, Bolo)
- Experience with unclaimed property practices preferred
- Experience with electronic records and digital data management preferred
- Strong research, math, written, verbal, and technical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and resolve issues accurately and timely
