Responsibilities
- Implement some teacher planned age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Communicate regularly with lead staff regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise
- Maintain organized records of attendance, activities, and incident reports to ensure smooth daily operations
- Comfortable around all aged children including holding and caring for infants and toddlers
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is helpful
- Experience working with children is helpful
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
