About the Role
Our client is seeking a Platform Developer with experience across Power Platform, ServiceNow, and SharePoint to support enterprise application development and workflow automation efforts. This is a mid-level, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building practical solutions that directly impact business operations.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior engineers and platform leads to design and deliver applications, automate workflows, and support integrations across multiple systems. You will work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint execution while maintaining delivery speed and quality.
Key responsibilities include:
Application Development
- Build and maintain Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
- Configure ServiceNow catalog items, forms, and workflows
- Develop and customize SharePoint lists, pages, and site components.
- Translate business requirements into user-friendly applications.
Workflow Automation
- Design and maintain Power Automate workflows.
- Automate approvals, notifications, and data movement procesesReduce manual work through scalable automation solutions
Platform Integration
- Develop REST API integrations and data connections across systems.
- Ensure secure and reliable data flow between ServiceNow, SharePoint, and external platforms.
- Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance.
Execution & Collaboration
- Work within Agile sprints to deliver against backlog prioritities.
- Provide accurate estimates and communicate progress and blockers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business and technical teams.
This role is primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements in Arlington,VA.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3–5 years of experience in enterprise application development
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with:
- Power Apps (canvas and model-driven)
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- ServiceNow configuration (catalog items, forms, workflows)
- SharePoint Online customization.
- Experience with REST APIs, connectors, and data integrations.
- Familiarity with Dataverse and enterprise data architecture.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to build applications and automate workflows end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Full-stack experience (Python, JavaScript frameworks, API integrations)
- Microsoft Power Platform certification ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Other Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Ability to travel occasionally to Arlington, VA as needed
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
