About the Role
The client is seeking a Manager of Facility and Engineering Services to lead plant operations and maintenance functions within a hospital environment. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing life safety, environment of care, and overall facility operations.
This individual will manage a team of 11 employees and be responsible for ensuring all physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds are maintained in a safe and fully operational condition. The role includes planning, organizing, and supervising maintenance activities, while also supporting budgeting, purchasing, payroll, and departmental performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role where the manager will serve as a technical resource, support team activities, and ensure delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed internal customer expectations. The position also requires participation in on-call responsibilities.
Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of facility maintenance experience required.
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare facility setting strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or supervising maintenance teams preferred
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and mech anical.
- Experience with life safety and environment of care standards.
- Ability to manage budgets, labor, and materials effectively.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license required
Salary : $79,000 - $132,000
