Pediatric hospitalist role
5-on / 10-off block schedule
Rounding on pediatric patients and newborns with two other pediatricians
Level II nursery coverage
About 800 deliveries per year
Round and go model
15-minute response time during the 24-hour shift
Must have or obtain NRP certification
Must respond to emergency high-risk deliveries
165-bed, not-for-profit regional hospital
East central Illinois
Nearby attractions include Kickapoo State Recreation Area, Kennekuk County Park, Lake Vermilion, trails, canoeing, hiking, and fishing
