Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to help keep our Finance Department running smoothly.
You’ll handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, purchasing, and general ledger tasks—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the board.
Essential Functions:
- Process invoices, payments, and billing reports
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and order tracking
- Reconcile accounts and support financial audits
- Collaborate with teams to resolve billing and accounting issues
- Assist with payroll, allocations, and special projects
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting, billing, or fiscal experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience with medical, educational, or human services billing (e.g., Medicaid, OPWDD, NYSED, NYDOH) preferred.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
