Role Description The Teacher at Inspire Academy is a full-time, on-site role based in Muncie, IN. The Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with school standards and student needs, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback to support growth. The Teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families, maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives. The role also involves supporting students’ social-emotional development and fostering strong advocacy and self-directed learning skills.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with the ability to support diverse learners effectively.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum implementation, and instructional design.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring learners, with a focus on growth and self-advocacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Indiana preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, multicultural practices and student-centered learning.
- Strong classroom management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
