Monitor Technician (Part-Time, Nights)

Inspira Health, the region’s leading network of healthcare providers, is seeking a part-time Monitor Technician to join the Central Monitoring team at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill, NJ. In this role, you will continuously observe and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms, communicate timely alerts and support essential clerical functions for the nursing unit. This is a night-shift position offering a competitive pay range of $19.97 - $27.95 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously observe and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG), recognizing changes and potential abnormalities
• Ensure appropriate, timely alerts and responses to monitor alarms and changes in patient condition
• Maintain and report patient monitoring data accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with clerical, communication and coordination functions for the nursing unit
• Follow all unit and health system policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a dysrhythmia course required
• Previous monitor technician experience preferred
• Certified Telemetry Technician certification preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English

Opened in December 2019, Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill is advancing a multi-year expansion to enhance its facilities and clinical services in response to growing community demand. Located on an approximately 100-acre campus, the hospital currently averages 87% - 93% patient occupancy, underscoring the need for additional capacity.

The expansion includes:

• A new five-story wing, an overbuild to the right of the main entrance, and renovations to existing support spaces
• 44 new licensed beds, including 10 ICU, 2 postpartum and 32 medical/surgical beds, bringing total licensed capacity to 254 beds
• Approximately 500 trade jobs supporting construction and more than 100 new permanent positions upon project completion
• 254 new parking spaces at project completion, with the ability to expand to a total of 475 new spaces in the future
