Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Admissions Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping individuals take the next step in their education and career.

The Admissions Representative plays a critical role in driving enrollment by actively engaging prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and ensuring a seamless transition from inquiry to enrollment and orientation.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective students (leads) to generate interest and schedule campus visits/interviews
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform initial interviews and assessments to evaluate applicants’ goals, interests, and program fit
  • Use consultative sales techniques to guide prospective students through the decision-making process
  • Build rapport and maintain consistent follow-up with leads to drive enrollment conversions
  • Assist applicants with completing admissions requirements, including applications and documentation
  • Guide students to financial aid and ensure all required paperwork is submitted accurately and on time
  • Track and manage leads using CRM systems and maintain accurate records of all interactions
  • Ensure enrolled students are fully prepared and confirmed for orientation/start dates
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly enrollment targets and performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, admissions, recruiting, or a related field (high-volume sales environment preferred)
  • Must have 2 years experience in higher education
  • Strong closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle objections and maintain persistence in a sales-driven environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, trade schools, or career training environments
  • Knowledge of Admissions processes
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
