Payroll Compliance Coordinator
Essential Functions
- Conducts appropriate analysis to calculate and input accurate amounts of Retroactive Benefit Deductions for Worksite employees.
- Reviews relevant data sources thoroughly, including EE records, payroll history and benefit documentation before initiating deductions.
- Performs balancing and audit activities as part of routine responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and team standards.
- Manages team mailbox, ensuring quick turnaround times when responding to external and internal inquiries.
- Demonstrates depth, breadth, and level of care in every interaction by delivering clear, accurate and professional communication with clients and internal teams.
- Ensures positive customer experience and high satisfaction through effective problem solving.
- Acknowledges all requests within agreed upon service level agreements and maintains consistent communication until resolution.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and shift without compromising quality.
- Accurately documents all relevant interactions and resolutions in Salesforce, when applicable.
- Fosters a positive, inclusive and productive team environment.
- Takes the initiative to contribute to ideas and offers help to resolve team challenges.
- Assists in the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.
- Helps other employees to accomplish Insperity Company goals.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by department supervisor.
- Participates in the Disaster Recovery Plan as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to two years of experience in an administrative support role or job-related field is required.
- Data entry experience required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs at basic to intermediate level; demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.
- Ability to conduct successful online research and validate collected data.
- High attention to detail with methodology for confirming accuracy in all tasks while remaining effective and efficient with problem solving.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully, both verbally and in writing, and maintains positive work relationships with those encountered in the course of employment.
- Demonstrates familiarity with standard office practices, procedures and equipment, including filing systems and business correspondence.
- Shows proficiency in language usage, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and basic arithmetic.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain order.
