Position Details
This is a multi-faceted position with the primary function of general recruiting and HR onboarding. Additionally, you will also be responsible for coordinating volunteers.We are looking for someone who would be interested in growing into a full-time permanent role based on performance and fit.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full volunteer candidate lifecycle from application review through hire and orientation.
- Use Workday ATS (Applicant Tracking System) for recruiting volunteers.
- Oversee active volunteers, including compliance with training and health requirements and reassignment to new roles.
- Partner with Volunteer Services leadership to develop assignments, update program materials, and support volunteer programs and events.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in general recruiting and applicant onboarding.
- Experience with Workday ATS is strongly preferred (or at least the willingness to learn it).
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week (4 days once fully trained)
- Intent to become a full-time employee based on performance.
- Ability to successfully pass drug test and background check.
- Ability to produce medical history (immunizations records, etc.).
- High School Diploma or a GED.
- Excellent communication skills.
