Your responsibilities:
Business Tax & Corporate Tax Preparation
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, including C corporations, consolidated returns, and multistate tax filings
- Manage partnership tax returns for business clients
- Ensure business tax compliance for all corporate tax engagements
- Handle complex business taxation matters for closely held business clients
Business Tax Advisory & Planning
- Provide business tax planning and corporate tax strategy to business clients
- Identify tax savings opportunities through proactive business tax advisory
- Advise business clients on entity structuring and business tax optimization
- Build strong client relationships through excellent business tax service
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise and mentor tax staff on business tax and corporate tax engagements
- Review business tax work for accuracy and compliance
- Develop your team's corporate tax and business taxation skills
- Lead multiple business tax client relationships simultaneously
Business Tax Audits & Research
- Support federal and state tax audits for business clients
- Conduct tax research on complex business tax and corporate tax issues
- Prepare business tax documentation and audit defense strategies
Client Development
- Grow business client relationships and identify new opportunities
- Contribute to firm growth through business development initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
- 8–10 years of public accounting experience in business tax and corporate tax
- Strong corporate tax and partnership tax technical skills
- Experience managing staff and business client relationships
- Knowledge of federal and multistate tax regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience serving business clients across multiple industries
- CPA license
- Business development experience
- Background in business tax planning and corporate tax strategy
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $135,000–$165,000 (based on experience)
