Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and meeting spaces. This leadership role is essential in ensuring that all cleanliness standards are consistently met, providing an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff.
Ensure team members consistently follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training to maintain high performance and morale.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas daily to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards are met.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including OSHA guidelines and resort policies.
Address performance issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Guest Service Support:
Ensure guest needs related to housekeeping are met promptly and effectively.
Support the resort’s mission of delivering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
Effective communicator & calm under pressure.
Physically capable of performing housekeeping tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
