Job Description – Nurse Educator (RNNPE) – LTC
Schedule: 1st Shift
Contract Length: 15 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator (RNNPE) to support a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for staff education, clinical training, and ensuring high-quality patient care standards. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and experience working in LTC environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing education and training to facility staff
- Support and guide clinical best practices in LTC setting
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and facility protocols
- May be required to assist on the floor when needed
- Utilize PCC (PointClickCare) system efficiently
- Support onboarding and ongoing competency development of nursing staff
- Collaborate with management to improve patient care quality
Requirements:
- Experience as RNNPE (Nurse Educator) in Long-Term Care (Required)
- Strong knowledge of LTC clinical operations
- Proficiency in PCC (PointClickCare)
- Ability to work both as educator and floor support when needed
- Strong communication, leadership, and training skills
