Position Summary
The Healthcare Center Administrator is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the healthcare facility to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient administrative workflow. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership capability, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations. A valid Healthcare Administration Certificate is required for this position.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Oversee daily operations of the healthcare center, ensuring smooth workflow and coordination across departments.
- Manage patient scheduling, registration, billing processes, and front-office functions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.
Administrative Duties
- Supervise administrative staff including front-desk coordinators, medical records personnel, and scheduling teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and compliance records.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Patient Experience & Support
- Ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to discharge.
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure the facility complies with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and accreditation requirements.
- Implement and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
Financial & Data Management
- Assist with budget planning, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Support insurance verification and billing tasks as needed.
- Use EMR/EHR systems to maintain accurate patient and operational data.
Staff Coordination & Communication
- Support onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of administrative staff.
- Act as a communication bridge between clinical staff, management, and patients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare Administration Certificate (mandatory).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
