Verifies all accounts/procedures done appropriately
including verifying accounts billed properly.
· Assists in IT support/troubleshooting for technical
staff and Radiologists.
· Perform TALK (radiology dictation system) dication,
transcribes letters, reports, statements, and
memoranda.
· Prepares patients for procedures per department
standards and protocols, ensuring adherence to
proper identification checks.
· Verifies/confirms patient appointments.
Responsible for running Quality Initiative data reports that provide turnaround time. · Retrieves various reports as needed to maintain the efficient flow of the department. · Cover multiple extensions, retrieve and fax patient reports, take/deliver messages, and locate individuals for calls throughout the day. · Retrieve lab results for CT when the department is busy. · Assists in the handling of dosimetry badges, accounts/records, correspondence, and reporting for an entire department. · Provide backup coverage for the file room by circulating patients in the hallway, answering phones, takings messages, printing and faxing reports, and creating discs.
Schedules appointments, and pre-certification exams and
makes follow-up calls as needed for patients.
· Order supplies as needed.
· Provides other duties as assigned.
