Role Description The Optician is a full-time, on-site role based in Minneapolis, MN. This position is responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, including frames and lenses, based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs. Daily tasks include interpreting prescriptions, performing measurements and adjustments, verifying lens specifications, and ensuring proper fit and comfort. The Optician will educate patients on lens options, coatings, and frame care, while supporting the clinical team in providing seamless eye care services. The role involves managing orders, coordinating with labs, maintaining inventory, and delivering consistent, courteous customer service.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer service and customer satisfaction skills with a patient-focused, professional communication style.
